On December 25, Father Pedro Opeka officiated Christmas Mass in the small forest of Cerro de Mahatazana.
As in previous years, the President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina, his wife, Mme Mialy, and his children participated, along with the Akamasoa community.
After the religious service, President Rajoelina gave the Akamasoa association a check for 112 454 796.00. – Ariary (the local currency), with the hope that “this celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ brings joy, hope and above all rebirth and peace to all of us and to our families”.
That same December 25, 2021, far south of Madagascar, our container, which came from the United States of America, freed its contents of food for the disabled in Tanjomoha from Father Emeric Amyot d´Inville.
The reception of this container was protected, in its customs formalities, by President Rajoelina which allowed this “Christmas gift” to arrive as a sign of hope for the future.
