Father Emeric and the Tonjomoha Home
Help prepare for a better future through care and education.
Located at the entrance to the small town of Vohipeno, on the southeast coast of Madagascar, the Foyer de Tanjomoha was created in 1986 on the initiative of Father Vincent Carme with the aim of providing vocational training to young disabled people. physical conditions and to ensure the treatment of their handicap.
The Foyer then diversified and now welcomes young orphans (Foyer Deguise), young people from villages considered pariahs (Foyer de Carme), sick people of all kinds (Foyer Manasoa for the poor, Tsararivotra for the tuberculosis, and a reception center for the mentally ill). In addition, he is strongly involved in local development (agricultural recovery, post-hurricane reconstruction, reforestation, etc.).
Inspired by the Gospel message of love for neighbour, the Foyer de Tanjomoha welcomes the most deprived people of this region without distinction of race, sex, religious or ideological convictions.

Education
The education system is one of the pillars of the Association. Any new family settled in AKAMASOA has the obligation to send their children to school in the various structures of the Association.
Work
From the beginning, work was the indispensable condition for getting out of the hell of the streets; it has not changed.
A job in a career, very hard, but worthy.
Health
Allowing access to care for the poor is one of the initial objectives of the association. AKAMASOA's largest healthcare center is located in Manantenasoa.
Reforestation
Every year thousands of trees are planted, and systematically around our villages, by schoolchildren, during the rainy season and are maintained during the dry season.
