Father Pedro celebrates the Eucharist in Belgium: a day full of celebration !

On Sunday June 26, 2022, Father Pedro celebrated the Eucharist with Father Philippe Mawet, parish priest of Sainte Alix Church in Woluwé, Belgium.

Under the aegis of the “Children of Madagascar” Association, Father Pedro carried out different activities as part of his journey which began a month ago in Europe.
Thus, he offered Conferences at the Collège Notre-Dame de la Paix Erpent and at the church of the Collège Saint Michel in Etterbeek (Brussels).
He also met Father André Marie de Croixrault, founder of “La Demeure”, where he welcomes the homeless and people at risk.
He went to the headquarters of the “Children of Madagascar” Association, accompanied by Jean-Claude Gianadda, author of the song “Pedro, my friend the insurgent”, and Catherine Goossens, author of two watercolors “particularly appreciated “.

At the same time, in the church of Akamasoa, during the mass presided over by Father Lazarista Entonio, the Malagasy faithful present at the celebration prayed “especially for our country”, since this date marks the “62nd anniversary of the independence of Madagascar.” The young people, students from different educational establishments, sang and offered traditional dances dressed in the colors of the national flag: “green, red and white”.
